Blockbuster Event :

Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea

Goalkeeper :

  • Edouard Mendy : Mendy has been exceptional since the start of the season and has only conceded 1 in the past 4 games. He has a 100% save rate and has made 16 saves so far. The 1 goal he conceded was a penalty scored by Mo Salah.

Defender :

  • Emerson : Despite making his debut in a thrashing caused by Crystal Palace, he was one of the few positives to take from the loss. He won 6 duels and had a 75% tackle success rate last time out and should be a key performer for Spurs this weekend.

Midfielder :

  • Mateo Kovacic : Kovacic put up a great performance last time out against Aston Villa. The player grabbed an assist and a smart goal and deservedly won the MOTM. Despite his contribution last time out, Chelsea have insane squad depth so if he’s not started make sure to pick Mason Mount.

Forward :

  • Romelu Lukaku : Lukaku has been every defender's nightmare ( Apart from VVD ) this season. The Belgian Forward has 3 goals in 3 games this season and should look to cause havoc in the spurs end this time out as well. Another player to look out for would be Harry Kane who was the best player in the PL last season. He hasn’t opened his account this season but he could be having a bad game and still manage to score a screamer.

Newcastle United vs Leeds United

Goalkeeper :

  • Illan Meslier : Both Newcastle and Leeds have had somewhat shaky starts but Meslier has been the better out of the two. He should also be more busy in between the sticks as Newcastle have had more goal threat.

Defender :

  • Junior Firpo : The newly signed fullback has been a great addition to the squad. His attacking prowess however may not have been converted into goals and assists yet but seeing how he is ever present in the opposition half, he should be involved soon. He also has an 84% pass accuracy and has won 9 duels in 3 games.

Midfielder :

  • Joe Willock : The ex- Hale End boy has started a new journey with Newcastle after having a fantastic second half of a season last time out with them on loan. He is bound to get a goal or an assist anytime now. Another player to look out for would be Raphinha who has replicated his last year pre injury form on bits.

Forward :

  • St Maximin : Mr Gucci has had a great start to the season despite his team not having the same start. The Forward has 1 goal and 2 assists and was one of the only players to baffle the United Defense and send them to the shops. Another player to look out for would be Patrick Bamford. The English forward has also had a good start to the season grabbing a goal and assist and is likely to be directly involved in the goal if Leeds score.

Burnley vs Arsenal :

Goalkeeper :

  • Nick Pope : Seeing how Arsenal usually try to pounce over teams weaker than them, we could possibly see Nick Pope quite busy in the sticks. Arsenal also haven’t exactly been clinical as shown in the previous game against Norwich so we could see Pope make quite a few saves.

Defender :

  • Kieran Tierney : Seeing how Arsenal finally scored last time out and got a win, we could finally see some Tierney crosses headed home. Another player would be Ben Mee who scored a goal last time out and Arsenal are usually unable to win headers.

Midfielder :

  • Nicolas Pepe : Pepe had a good game last time out against Norwich despite his first touches being extremely poor. The midfielder also seems to have an eye for goal and should be taking a good amount of chances. Martin Odegaard has also been inform with his international team where he made 12 key passes in a single game.

Forward :

  • Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang : As I said last weekend, Aubameyang most certainly grabs a goal against a lower half team and should do the same this week as well after getting the confidence boost last time out. Despite it being a scrappy goal, it still counts as one and should lift Auba’s confidence.

Manchester City vs Southampton

Goalkeeper :

  • Alex McCarthy : Southampton have held their own in the previous three matches and are getting better results than expected. McCarthy even kept a clean sheet against one of the most inform teams in Europe and should make some good saves this time out as well.

Defender :

  • Joao Cancelo : Cancelo hit a beauty against RB Leipzig in City’s last UCL match and should be looking to get even more forward and get involved in the goals. He’s also improved defensively and should be a top point earner.

Midfielder :

  • Kevin De Bruyne : The PLs and arguably the world’s best midfielder is back in form and should cause Mayhem against Southampton this Saturday. Bernado Silva is another player inform who controlled the game against Leicester last time out.

Forward :

  • Gabriel Jesus : Jesus has been resurrected into one of the most on form players ever since deployed on the wing. The forward has 2 goals and 3 assists in all competitions this season and should be a regular starter for City from now on.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace :

Goalkeeper :

  • Vincente Guaita : The CP shot stopper should be busy in between the nets against Liverpool due to their constant attacking play. Guaita even kept a clean sheet last time out against a win over Spurs and should get a decent amount of saves this weekend as well.

Defender :

  • Trent Alexander Arnold : Another fullback with the output of a world class forward. Trent has 2 assists now in 4 games with 2.4 expected assists. Expect Trent to lob in great through balls and grab an assist or a goal again this weekend.

Midfielder :

  • Thiago : Thiago had a great game last time out against Leeds United and completely controlled the midfield. He even grabbed an assist and should have another great performance. Another Player would be Conor Gallaghar, The on loan midfielder has 2 goals and an assist and if Palace do manage to surprise us, it would likely be through him.

Forward :

  • Mo Salah : There are only two things certain in life, Death and Mo Salah getting a goal or assist. Salah has 6 goal contributions in 5 games and no doubt he will grab another one in this game if they score. Another player would be Odsonne Edouard who scored a brace in the last 10 mins off the bench.

Norwich City vs Watford :

Goalkeeper :

  • Tim Krul : Despite both teams being on a bad run of games, Watford have played better and have gotten a slightly better run of form. This would also see them control the ball more and we would get to see Tim Krul busy in between the sticks

Defender :

  • Max Aarons : The right back seems to be one of the shining lights for the newly promoted side. His pace and defending should come in handy for Norwich and could prevent quite a few goal creating actions.

Midfielder :

  • Ismaila Sarr : The player has already proven himself in the PL before and has picked up where he left. The Senegalese forward has already grabbed a goal and if Watford score, there’s a good chance of his name being on the scoresheet. Another player to look out for would be Emmanuel Dennis who also has a goal and an assist.

Forward :

  • Teemu Pukki : Norwich have only scored a single goal so far and that was scored by Pukki. The team’s consistent top scorer, has shown his prowess in the PL before and if Norwich do manage to get the better of Watford, it would probably involve Pukki in the goal.

Wolves vs Brentford :

Goalkeeper

  • Raya Martin : Brentford have actually been outperforming their expectations and have looked like a solid team. They have conceded only 2 goals in 4 games and Martin has kept 2 clean sheets already. Seeing how Wolves come off a deserved and needed win, I would still see them being the more attacking side keeping Martin busy.

Defender :

  • Ethan Pinnock : The Brentford defense have been tough to get past as of now. Pinnock has had a great start to the season which has seen him win 23 duels till now and even have a 100% tackle success rate.

Midfielder :

  • Trincao : Despite him not being able to get a goal or assist in their opening few games, his dribbling and passing have been top notch and he looks like one heck of a baller. Expect him to show his magic this week and get his name on the scoresheet.

Forward :

  • Raul Jimenez : Jimenez has been Wolves consistent goalscorer for the past few years. He suffered a horrific injury last season but looks to be regaining form now. Another player would be Brentford’s top scorer from last year, Ivan Toney who has also grabbed a goal in the prem.

Aston Villa vs Everton

Goalkeeper :

  • Emi Martinez : Aston Villa have been handed a boost as we see both Emi Martinez and Buendia set to return to the squad. Martinez has been exceptional for Aston Villa and seeing how hot in form Everton are, we should see Martinez in the flesh.

Defender :

  • Lucas Digne : The French fullback is another attacking threat. Digne grabbed 7 assists last season and should look to match or raise that number this season. The defender has also won 18 duels and has won 100% of his tackles

Midfielder :

  • Abdoulaye Doucoure : Doucoure has gotten off to a great start this season grabbing 1 goal and 3 assists in 4 games. He’s also made 5 clearances and has played a huge part in Everton’s success. Another Player would be Emi Buendia, who grabbed a goal in his last match and was top notch in the championship last season.

Forward :

  • Demarai Gray : The newly signed forward has hit the ground running having already scored 3 goals in 4 games. His build up play and dribbling has been exceptional and should get a goal or assist this time out as well. Another Player inform would be Danny Ings, who also has 2 goals and 1 assist since the start of the season.

Brighton vs Leicester City

Goalkeeper :

  • Kasper Schmeichel : Despite having won 2 of their first 4 games, this Leicester side doesn’t look convincing yet. Brighton on the other hand have won 3 of their first 4 games and should keep Schmeichel busy this week.

Defender :

  • Lewis Dunk : Dunk is a reliable and no nonsense defender. He has won 100% of his tackles this season and is always a threat on corners. He has also won 5 duels and has 91% passing accuracy.

Midfielder :

  • Harvey Barnes : The Leicester City midfielder won MOTM ion his last game in the EL against Napoli. Coming off scoring a goal and an assist in his previous game, he should be lethal this time out as well and brimming with confidence.

Forward :

  • Jamie Vardy : Vardy has scored 2 and assisted 1 since the start of the season doesn’t look like he’s going to stop anytime soon. Another player to look out for would be Neil Maupay who also has 2 goals since the start of the season.

West Ham vs Manchester United :

Goalkeeper :

  • David De Gea : Despite both teams getting off to a flying start in the premier league, I could see West Ham winning the midfield battle and also keep De Gea more busy and as he has been great since the start as well, he should be making decent saves.

Defender :

  • Luke Shaw : The attacking fullback had a redemption season last time out and should continue with his form this time out as well. He averages 5.5 prog. passes and 7.5 prog. Carries p90 and also 2.07 tackles per game. Another player to look out for would be Vladmir Coufal who has an assist and been solid for the Hammers.

Midfielder :

  • Bruno Fernandes : Arguably United’s most important player since he has arrived. The Attacking midfielder has 4 goals in 4 games and should be another key player for United this time out as well. Another player would be Said Benrahama who has 2 goals and 2 assists this season and has been exceptionally good.

Forward :

  • Cristiano Ronaldo & Michail Antonio : The most on form striker in the league and arguably the best Striker of all time. Ronaldo has 3 goals in 2 games for United and Antonio is playing fifa player career mode and has 5 goals and 3 assists in 5 games. Both Strikers could score at any point of time and should be in your team.
